Toilet Paper Machine
To compete in the ASME CADathon design competition, my teammate and I designed a toilet paper machine to change toilet paper. The machine would convert a simple hand crank into automatic swapping of toilet paper rolls. I wanted to incorporate as many mechanisms as possible for this machine.
Designed mechanisms include: gear drive, cam & follower, 4-bar linkage, belt drive, and hinges. Our design won 1st place for the team category.
